Welcome to experienceORANGE!

We are a community dedicated to orange artwork. Quite simply, this is artwork mostly using the under-appreciated color orange. Colors are one of the most basic visual ways of invoking emotion. This club is about the many feelings and desires associated with orange. Orange can be provocative, sarcastic, comforting, joyful, and so much more. How do you use orange?

:: N E W S ::
01/04/08: I've added some external links (at the bottom of this journal) to websites dealing with the physical and spiritual/psychological properties of orange. If you have any you'd like to add, feel free to note the club. You can use these links to educate and inspire you.

I apologize for not being as active in this club as I should be. From now on, I will be posting new artwork and listing new members the first week of every month. If you have anything that you wish to be addressed more quickly, please contact me through my main account, Blue-Whisper.

If you have joined before December 5, 2007, please check to make sure that you are listed under members. One of my member updates to this journal didn't save, and I had to backtrack and list the new members. If you aren't listed, please message this account.

To join experienceORANGE (EO), simply follow these steps:
Add experienceORANGE to your watch list
Place a link/icon of experienceORANGE in your journal or signature (do this by typing : iconexperienceORANGE : without the spaces)
And send a note to our administrator this account requesting to join, so we know that you aren't just watching our club, but that you wish to be a member.

:: S U B M I S S I O N S ::
In order to submit a piece to EO, you must first be a member. Other than that, please follow these simple rules:
Give our club permission to repost your artwork in the Artist's Comment portion of your dA submission.
Send a note to our us entitled "Submission" with a link to your artwork.
You may submit as many deviations as you like, but only one per week.
Artwork must have a major visible "orange" theme in the coloring, or else it will not be posted. Orange can't just be a color in your composition, it must be a dominate one. Check out our gallery for some good examples.
